Paint Party Friday - Week 43 - Octopus Connections

Another busy week with little time to create. I'm still thinking of my Word of the Year - "CONNECT" and started to doodle...

This silly little Octopus is VERY eager to CONNECT with you all this year!

Have a great Paint Party Friday! I will visit you when I can (it may take a few days though....), I'm very excited to see what you've painted so far in 2012!

My word is Happenstance for 2012, God's way of telling me this is meant to be. . . I have to pay attention. Blessings, Janet

  4. I constantly feel as though I need both a tardis to find the time to fit in everything at this time of the year, and a few extra arms wouldn't go astray either... hope you get more creative time this week...xx

  5. I like your new blog header (I missed last week's paint party friday so maybe you mentioned it then?) Connect is a great word especially given how well the internet enables us to connect with other like minded creatives out in cyberspace! Cute octopus too!

  43. I know this is an older post but I missed the week that everyone posted their words for the year and I wanted to come see yours. This little octopus is perfect for the word connect. He can connect with lots of people at one time! I think it's a great word. Artistic lives can be a little solitary if you don't make an effort for them not to be. I know I'd miss connecting through the internet if I didn't have it because my local friends aren't interested in artsy stuff.
