These two faces are from a mini-challenge that Ileana gave on her blog - to try to capture Elizabeth Taylor. Here are my two tries (and the photo inspiration).
#15 - pastels
#16 - Paint pens

Didn't quite get her - but it was fun to try! I'm looking forward to visiting everyone over the next few days!
Have a great week.
You captured something of her I think in the second one. You#ve got her stare in both. Brilliant job, I find it so hard (impossible) to draw real faces. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, good for you trying...I won't even try! The second one is great! I like her lips :)
ReplyDeleteI think you did a FAB job, Eva! Are you serious?! :) Well done and so much better than I could ever do. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI believe you captured the spirit of Elizabeth Taylor, especially in the paint pens piece. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI really like these portraits and how each one has a different feel to it.
ReplyDeleteNice portrait work Eva. Wow she was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Eva~ Great work with all your faces. I like the paint pens drawing too. I agree, you indeed captured her spirit.
ReplyDeleteHave a super week! ♥
These are great sketches and very like the phot inspiration
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portraits. She was beautiful and so are your paintings.
ReplyDeleteHi Eva, I agree with Arnoldo in that you captured her spirit in the second piece (its all in the eyes, that's usually the first place I start when doing a portrait). Thanks for visiting my blog and do keep at your portraiture, cheers :)
ReplyDeleteLovely work. You wouldn't want it to be an exact copy. I like seeing your own interpretation.
ReplyDeleteOh you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her...you interpret her well and captured her essence in a fun and colorful and unique way. Great job, amiga! PS - Don't forget to send me your address for a little gift from moi to vous. :)
