**Tuesday additional note: After all the weekend excitement I heard about Mr. Toast's Christmas Tea, I dropped by today (Tuesday) and discovered that his theme for Creative Tuesday this week is "Holidays" . My little efforts seemed so appropriate that I signed up! Please drop by Hot Toast and Jam and see all the great efforts!
*now back to my original post before I knew about that theme.....
I'm surprised. I never thought that I would miss posting and checking-in on everyone everyday after the intense AEDM. I thought I'd be looking forward to the regular weekly check-ins. And I am. But I also find myself missing the daily aspects too. Not sure why as weekly check-ins seemed so much more sane.

Here is the rest of my week last week. For me, it's too early to think about Christmas before December but once the calendar turns, it is on my mind and so far, it is inspiring me daily.

I liked this one so much I decided to make it my holiday season header (for now). (Unfortunately I lost part of the image in the shadow of the gutter of my CED2010 book and my editing prowess was insufficient to improve it much.)
I also worked more on my SBP (aka Sketchbook Project) this week. What about you? Was the rest of your week creative?
Eva,
ReplyDeleteThese are spectacular; I especially like the first one (Thursday).
xoxo
these are fantastic - I particularly like Friday - wonderful work
ReplyDeletethe zendoodle ornaments are fantastic!

ReplyDeleteOh, I like your zen doodle ornaments! And your way too cool jazzy zen snowman! Very cool EVA!
ReplyDeleteThose are such cute ornaments! You should cut them out and hang them on your tree. :)
ReplyDeleteAhh so cute!!! I love Zentangles! I love your Snowman with the Sax! Very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Eva. Just popping in from PritiLisa's place to say hi. I like all of them, the snowman rocks as do the ornaments. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays to you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI love love them all! Beautiful lines and the snowman looks so fun. It's the right choice for your blog head!
ReplyDeleteI love the star on Saturday. Get job gal. My sketch book is full of leaves and berries. Just can't get enough. I have done 20 Christmas cards by hand. Love just sitting and painting. blessings

I like the graphic patterning of your baubles :)
ReplyDeleteYou have outdone yourself. These are wonderful! I love the jazzy snowman. Great job! Great details.
ReplyDeletewhat a treat to come here and peruse past postings of all your amazing drawings! i think you should sponsor a sketch-a-day challenge in the new year ... i know i am inspired to pull out my journal and get drawing!
ReplyDeleteand i love the festive holiday look here :) your snow man should be a card! i admit, knowing you are also working on The Sketchbook Project makes me hang my head in shame to think how lively and rich your pages will be while I feel like I am just slogging through right now (oh, some of mine are wonderful, but many are being done to move it forward!)
Warmest of wishes - I leave here re-inspired! Thank you for that!

Well we shall just call you "Miss Darling Doodles" as this is just so delightful. Full of music and fun, and those little bunnies, having the time of their lives. Your ornaments are lovely too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays.
Oh, these are VERY nice! I'm liking the star the best! :)
ReplyDeleteThose ornaments are very cool (so is your jazzy snowman, of course!) - they would make very cool actual, hold in your hand, hang on the tree ornaments too :)

Eva, these are superb. Espcailly love the red bauble and star decorations. The snowman is so funny too.
ReplyDeleteNow, I see you've signed up for Creative Tuesday--thank you so much-but are these for them or should we expect another contribution? If so, please do be sure to mention "Creative Tuesdays" a link back to my blog so others can learn more too and possibly may want to join in.
Welcome abroad! Always great o have new interpretations. Please check back in tomorrow or sometime when I will have the montage of all our work up...adn introduce the new theme as well.
Love your sax playing santa...and the dancing bunnies. Lots of fun happening here!
ReplyDeleteI like what you've done with the ZenDoodle ornaments. They sparkle and catch the light like real ornaments. And the snowman jazz concert is just fun!
ReplyDeleteSnowmen playing the saxaphone are always cool in my book. I love your ornaments, especially the star.
ReplyDeleteI totally noticed the jazz snowman the second I came over here! He's so fun.
ReplyDeleteThose ornaments are great. You should make them into ornaments for the tree somehow because they would look awesome hanging in a tree.
Wowee, what fantastic zentangle ornaments, the star one is my favourite..amazing! Your header looks wonderful too...what a groovy snowman he is :)
ReplyDeleteI love the first three you showed. Here's mine http://thelunaticsdiary.blogspot.com/2010/12/crimson-queen.html
ReplyDeleteI love Saturday, but they are all so fun. what a clever idea, really gives the ornaments some pizazz! I love the zendoodles, you do! wouldn't the ornamnts look cute in a frame all together with three little windows? I think so!
ReplyDeleteI do so love the snowamn though, especially at the top of your blog.
hope all is well with you - thanks so very much for thoughtufl comments too! XXOO
I particularly love your ornaments, but the snowman's cute too.
ReplyDeleteYour snowman just made me smile. Wish I could have one in my garden but unfortunately, with the summer rain here in Aussieland, all I got are puddles of muddy water!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you enjoy and keep in winter! ;D
What beautiful drawings! I especially love those ornament designs - they are so intricate and elegant! Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful -- I really like the use of colors and the way all those lines create so much detail!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I love these zentangle ornaments! I just ordered a zentangle book for myself for Christmas. I can't wait to start learning. The snowman, by the way, looks like Bill Clinton playing the sax. :-)
